I work out of a cozy little studio right in my home.  I love that I do not have to get into a car everyday to get to work.  Making a hot cut of tea or coffee in the morning and stepping into my studio is just about one my favorite things.  Working in a space in my home is one of many aspects that helps me meet my goal of being an environmentally conscious business.  Striving to embrace the natural world, I create clothing that reflects nature literally in my applique and abstractly in the fluid lines of my pieces.  I feel my clothing reflects a desire that I hold to only offer the most unique and specialized clothing.

Eco-Friendly Fabrics
I really strive to offer the most eco-friendly fabrics that I can find. Here is a list of the eco-friendly fabrics I use and how they are Green.

All of my organic cotton knits and my wool for my 2010 wedding collection will be purchased from a small company located in an off-the-grid, solar-powered facility near New Mexico's beautiful Pecos Wilderness Area.

Knits - The cottons are grown, ginned, and milled in the US.  All of it is 100% NOP certified Organic.
Organic Merino Wool - The standards for this wool are way beyond US organic standards.  All of the wool is knit in the U.S. The organic merino wool comes from farms in both California and Australia.   The farms where the sheep are raised follow the strickest protocol. The sheep are all pasture feed and free to roam around.  They use no pesticides in the feed and fields.
Organic cotton fabrics - Are primarily grown and milled in the United States using certified organic cotton.
Hemp Woven Fabrics(hemp silk, hemp tencel) - are from heavily researched socially-responsible facilities in China, meaning fare, honest, and safe treatment of their workers, absolutely NO child labor.  No harsh or toxic chemicals are used in the processing and all the hemp fiber used in milling process are certified organic.

**Non-Eco-Friendly Fabrics
On occasion,  I still sometimes use other fabrics.  However, when I do I try to buy them from small independent fabric stores in order to support local businesses and online start up companies.

Thank you to all of my wonderful customers. You are all so supportive and I owe deep gratitude to each of you.  Your support means so much to me.
